Cécile Thiaucourt joined the FRB in November 2022 as “Scientific animation and communication officer”, thereby splitting her time between the science and communication divisions. Within the science and research community division, Cécile provides support to the activities of the Scientific council of the Foundation. Within the communication division, she is dedicated to shedding light on the activities of CESAB, the Centre for the Synthesis and Analysis of Biodiversity, a keystone program of the FRB.

 

Cécile Thiaucourt is a veterinary surgeon by training, and graduated from Cambridge University with an additional degree in ecology. During her academic journey, she was, for three years, a member of the Ecological Advisory Panel of Cambridge University.
