Nicolas Casajus has a Master’s degree in Ecology, Biostatistics and Modelling, from the University Paul Sabatier in Toulouse. In 2008, he was recruited at the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR) as a research engineer, where he worked for nearly ten years. He was involved in many research projects studying the effects of climate change on Quebec biodiversity and developed a great expertise in data analysis and computational reproducibility.
In March 2019, Nicolas Casajus joined the FRB as a data scientist at CESAB. Among his many tasks, he works closely with the CESAB working groups to develop the methodological tools best suited to their research issues. He is also in charge of the CESAB’s training programme and the CESAB’s GitHub.
