Expert biometrician engineer at the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB)

Clément Calenge is a biometrician engineer at the methodological support unit of the Research and Expertise Directorate of the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB).

 

He provides statistical support to the institution’s research programmes, through the design of sampling devices, exploratory analyses, frequentist or Bayesian, explanatory or predictive statistical modelling. The fields of application of the approaches that Clément Calenge implements mainly concern ecological issues related to large fauna (monitoring of diseases, demographic parameters, habitat, etc.).
